Our access to media is unlimited. Which means we keep collecting! Games, movies, music, programmes, notes, books, magazines, electronic manuscripts, recipes, genealogy records, you name it.

Of course we also need the devices to be able to access some of the different types of media we own, even if we’re not currently using it. So, record players, CD players, VCR players, various brands and versions of game consoles, hard drives, computers, e-readers, laptops and other storage devices. Whew! That’s a lot of stuff!

In addition to that, there’s also the digital files we amass on a day-to-day basis: pictures, music, books, videos, apps, emails… They’re endless. They’re also important and something we’d like to hang on to.

The problem is, storage on our devices is not limitless. Holding on to all of that counts as clutter. It causes the same issues as with physical clutter - it’s hard to organise, harder to find things, it’s distracting and it saps energy and motivation to even think about dealing with it.

Deal with digital clutter the same way you would deal with other clutter. Get rid of what you don’t really need, and move the rest to your Vancouver storage units–easy peasy!

Storage units are made for decluttering and storing your electronics and media in them is no different. Just make sure you select humidity-controlled storage lockers in Vancouver to help keep the inside temperature stable in our variable climate. This prevents issues with condensation and moisture–very important with electronics!

Using a storage locker to declutter your digital life helps you to be better organised, decreases anxiety, and ultimately improves performance for your devices and your brain!

Storguard offers budget-friendly, humidity-controlled units for electronic storage in multiple sizes. Contact one of our 5 convenient locations to rent one today.
