A couple of tips when it comes to storing your things: request humidity-controlled storage lockers when storing items that can be damaged by moisture caused by temperature fluctuations. For example, important papers, artworks, furniture, clothes, antiques, and sports equipment. Also, use racks or store long items vertically if possible, to maximise storage space.
